About The Collection
The Wildflower Whispers Junk Journal Collection is a curated assortment of digital wildflower floral pages, each blooming with potential.
These aren’t your garden-variety clipart or backgrounds; they are printables with a soul, designed to inspire and transform your creative projects.
Whether you’re a scrapbooking enthusiast looking to add natural elegance to your pages, a mixed media artist in search of textured backgrounds, or a crafty soul eager to handcraft greeting cards, these images are your companions.
While these pages are rooted in the junk journal aesthetic, they refuse to be fenced in.
They’re versatile enough for digital layouts, decoupage, or even as standalone art pieces.
Each page is a story waiting to be told, a blank slate for your imagination.
Perhaps you’ll find your next project amidst the watercolor hues of poppies and cornflowers, or maybe the delicate dance of wild roses and daisies will lead your art in a new direction.
The beauty of the Wildflower Whispers collection is not just in the imagery but in the stories they’ll help you tell.
So, roll up your sleeves, clear the table, and let’s get crafting. Who knows what wonders you’ll create with a wildflower at your side?

Crafty Ideas for You
Little Tips from Me to You For Junk Journal Pages
Welcome to your creative expedition! As you delve into the world of junk journaling with our diverse range of printable pages, here are some insights to enhance your crafting experience. Consider these your artistic guidelines, helping you to fully utilize the potential of these versatile printables.
The Art of Printing
Paper Choices Matter
The type of paper you choose is important in all forms of crafting, and junk journaling is no exception.
Whether it’s matte photo paper for vivid imagery or textured cardstock for a tactile feel, each adds a unique dimension to your pages.
I always suggest to go for the highest quality paper you can afford – quality paper can make a big difference to print quality, and to the overall outcome of your craft.
I also love textured papers like linen paper, or even handmade paper for a unique and rustic feel.
Printer Settings
Optimize your printer settings for the highest quality. Selecting the correct paper setting is key to reproducing the rich details and vibrant colors of the printables.
You may want to print a few test pages first to see what settings work best for you. And remember, you can always restore to default so don’t hold back on changing up settings and trying new things.
Test Prints
Speaking of test prints, there’s a few things you can do to get the most out of them.
Before printing on premium paper, always run a test on standard paper. This step ensures the colors and details meet your expectations, without ‘wasting’ more expensive papers.
When you find a setting you like for a particular paper, keep a copy of your ‘test print’ and make a note of the settings. This way when you need to print on this type of paper again, you’ll have all of your settings ready to go.
Junk Journaling with Printable Pages
Image Sizing
Our printables, often in JPEG format, are created large to allow for sizing flexibility.
You can scale the images to fit various layouts without compromising on quality, within the resolution limits (landscape is ~5000px or 16.5″, portrait is 3000px or 10″).
There are free tools online, such as Canva, to help you create the perfect size images for your project, and can help you crop or modify the images too.
Layering Techniques
Junk journaling is synonymous with layering.
Use these printables as foundational backdrops and add layers with text, stickers, or other embellishments for depth and complexity.
Alternatively, you can use tools like Canva (or manually do it yourself) to cut, crop, and create all kinds of embellishments and ephemera for your project.
Mix and Match
Feel free to combine different printables to weave a story or convey various moods in your journal.
If you head to our Junk Journal page, or our Free Printables page, you can see all of our collections.

From Digital to Tangible
Mind the Binding
When creating bound journals, pay attention to image placement, particularly near the spine, to ensure no crucial elements are lost in the binding.
Aging Techniques
For a vintage feel, consider distressing the edges of your prints or using tea-staining methods. This can add an antique charm that complements your theme.
The Right Adhesive
Always use acid-free glue for longevity and to prevent yellowing, maintaining the pristine condition of your pages.
