About Me

Hey! I’m Krystal and I love money!

(This is me… I run even run a Finance Bootcamp!! Love it!)

In 2015 my husband and I found ourselves in more debt than we could comprehend. We had good paying jobs, but the more we earned the more we seemed to be handing out. It felt like a never-ending cycle of money in, money out and we hated it.

So we decided to change it.

It wasn’t easy. We had to get real with our money mindsets, budget like we had never budgeted before (because traditional budgets set us up to fail!) and change the way we looked at money.

And it worked!

Less than 3 years later we had paid off over $120k in debt and purchased our home. And we work less hours now than we ever have before. (Did I mention we have two kids and we chose to work part-time to spend more time at home with them? Hubby calls it ‘semi-retirement’! Haha)

I knew there was something different about the way we managed our money that made it possible for us to pay down debt, enjoy our lives and still feel good about how we were handling our money. So I started talking more about it online and it resonated with more and more women.

So here we are. Talking all things money, building our financial confidence and achieving our financial goals

I’ve never left a comment on a blog before, but your article on giving up new clothes was excellent, and I had to send a shout out! I am actually trying to give up something else (though I totally recognized the whole clothes psychology and should maybe add that too!) .. and the points you make and again psychology behind what you say is so transferable. I was really impressed. I’ve saved that article and am substituting the thing I’m trying to give up for the clothes. Keep writing, you have a talent for nice clear articulation and not making it over complicated.
