  1. My daughter is 6 and she loves to help put etsy orders together! She wraps them beautifully in tissue paper and helps me tape packahes and even goes to the post office with daddy to drop them in the box. I often have them do projects next to me while Im writing a blog post or we pull out the sofa bed and have snacks while we watch a movie and I schedule social media. I work from home so I can be with them so I try to make sure to be present as often as I can. I have lots of unplugged time too so I can give them some one-on-one attention and I let them know when I need 20 minutes or so to focus.

    1. This is all so adorable!! I often feel so guilty for working when home but then I realise that working at home means I get to spend time with my son. Just like you said. I love that you have unplugged time too. I do try to do as much as I can during my son’s nap… and it’s great that your kids know when you need time to focus. It gives them a chance to learn how to entertain themselves which is so important too. xo

  2. There are some great ideas in here. My son is 3 and I’m just trying to get my business up and running. He’s at playgroup for 9 hours a week so I get that time guilt free but if I’m trying to finish something off once he’s home I always get mothers guilt.

If I’m creating products I’ve started getting his paints out – it’s lovely to both be sitting at the dining table being creative together.
